This funding opportunity aims to support economic revitalization efforts in downtown St. Cloud and Foley by providing a 30% matching grant to businesses and property owners investing in development, repair, and renovation projects.

Downtown Foley Grant Program

The City of Foley plans to fund 1 – 2 projects with a maximum award of $37,600. Application Period: April 15 – May 23, 2025

DEED’s Main Street Economic Revitalization Grant

GSDC was awarded funding through DEED’s Main Street Economic Revitalization Grant program to help enhance economic vibrancy in the region. This initiative will provide matching grant support for projects that stimulate business growth, enhance infrastructure, and drive long-term economic impact. Project awards will be announced later this summer.

Eligible applicants include commercial property owners, businesses, and developers with projects that align with the program’s goals of economic revitalization, job creation, and community enhancement. Priority consideration will be given to projects that support economic growth, improve accessibility, and contribute to the overall vibrancy of the downtown areas.

“Foley is very excited to partner with GSDC on this grant opportunity. The Main Street program will continue to revitalize Foley and expand upon our already successful downtown façade program.” said Sarah Brunn, City Administrator of the City of Foley.
