City Council meetings are held regularly on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, unless specified in advance by the City Council. Second meetings of the month are held when needed as determined by the Mayor and/or City Administrator. The public is encouraged to attend and speak at the meeting during public forums.
Please Note:
The City will hold its Truth-In-Taxation public hearing Tuesday, Dec.1, at 6:00 p.m. This hearing is held prior to the adoption of the final budget for 2021.
Residents with questions on the city budget and tax levy are encouraged to attend this meeting or contact City Hall at 968-7260 or contactus@ci.foley.mn.us. The safety of all our residents is a top priority so staff can also relay any comments submitted via email, phone or letter to the City Council at the meeting.
The proposed levy is a 1.05% increase, well below the city’s estimated growth in tax capacity of 4%.
The Economic Development board helps to support the many varied businesses and industries within the City of Foley. The board oversees programs, reviews data and supports efforts to help meet the economic goals of the community. Meets the third Tuesday of every month from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Meetings are held the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
