Tobacco License

The City of Foley regulates the retail sale of tobacco and has an established license fee as set by the council (Code of Ordinances Section 520, MN Statute 461.12).

The tobacco license period runs from July 1 – June 30. To obtain a license, submit the application form below along with the $125 application fee (payable to City of Foley) and a copy of the applicant’s driver’s license.

The City Council must approve all tobacco licenses prior to issuance. Your application must be presented to the Mayor and Council for final approval.
