All dogs over 6 months of age must be licensed through the City. Licenses must be renewed annually and expire on the 30th day of April each year. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required.

In addition, no dogs shall be permitted to run at large within the Cit limits unless on a leash and is kept under the control of the accompanying person. Violations of sections of the ordinances regulating dogs, small animals or any city code shall be a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine.
