The administration office manages the day-to-day operations of the City, general government administration and support of the Mayor and City Council and links all other operating departments and city staff.

The City Administrator/Clerk is responsible for implementing City Council policies, prepares the City Council agenda, is the official record keeper maintaining all official files, records, licenses, resolutions, ordinances and minutes of the City, keeps the Council informed on issues that affect the City, coordinates elections, licensing, permits, prepares the budget, managing finances and special assessments of the City and processes billing for service. The City Administrator/Clerk oversees all departments of the City and is responsible for assuring compliance with federal and state mandates.

The City of Foley administrative offices are located at 251 4th Avenue N, in downtown Foley. The office is open Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are happy to assist you with any questions, comments or concerns.

For convenience, a locked drop box is located in the front entrance of City Hall to accept utility payments and general city correspondence during non-business hours.

City offices will be closed for business on the following dates and federal holidays:

  • Good Friday before Easter – Closed at 11:30 a.m.
